Tell me, is this or is this not the height of depravity? While appreciating En Shafie's concern towards women's welfare, I totally do not get the logic of this. Will somebody please explain this madness?

KB council bans lipstick, high heels
KOTA BARU: Muslim women employees working here are forbidden to wear lipstick and high-heeled shoes to work.
This directive is contained in a municipal council circular dated May 25 and signed by its president Shafie Ismail, which has been distributed to business premises here.
A check, however, found that only a few tenants had received the circular this week.
The circular stated that the directive, targeted at Muslim women employees working in food outlets and other business premises, was issued to prevent incidents like rape and illicit sex as well as to safeguard the morals and dignity of Muslim women in Kelantan.
It stated that Muslim women were forbidden to wear thick make-up, bright coloured lipstick and high-heeled shoes which made a tapping sound.
Those who insisted on wearing high-heeled shoes should choose those with rubber soles.
Attempts to contact Shafie for clarification were futile.
The directive on the wearing of lipstick and high-heeled shoes are in addition to the wearing of scarves, which should cover the chest and not be of transparent material, blouses with long sleeves, which were long and loose, as well as socks.
Those who do not adhere to the regulation can be fined up to RM500. – Bernama

Yes, I'm so glad its finally Friday! But its taking a tad too long for them clocks to say ''6.30pm!". I'm bored and I don't have any mood to work. So here I am, talking trash and leaving all you fellow lazy bums with this sad fact of life:

Ugh... Must have been written by some work-loving sadist! How true though. Sad but true. I cry every Sunday without fail. Hahahahahaha...!! But then again, doesn't it just give us something to look forward in life? Each day I live looking forward to the weekends. :P Makes my weekends more berharga!

Malaysia. We've got talent!
Discovered something today. This Malaysian girl who calls herself KokoKaina. Posted some clips of her playing her guitar and singing on YouTube and got signed by a record company in the US. She is GOOD! Sounds like Norah Jones + Corrine Bailey Rae. Real good.
And I really like her. And I like her even more for the fact that she doesn't feel the need to plaster her pretty 'lil face to sell her music. All that is shown is her hands, guitar and chin. That's real classy. People with real talent will always reach great heights on their talent alone. No need to become a wannabe pop princess. Well, at least you know your listeners are quality listeners, eh Koko? Anyway, if you EVER do happen to read this, KokoKaina, I think you're GREAT! Stay humble. And we look forward to seeing you succeed. :) Make us proud!

Fooooood~ Glorious Fooooood~ Wonderful Foooood!!!
I can't wait, I can't wait! Lover boy said he will buy me CHERRIES.. MMMmmmmm...
And I have also requested for some AVOCADOES from Jakarta. Haha.. Don't ask..
AND! *drumrolls please* :) The highlight: He has to get me them PUTU BULUH and WOO KOK from his SS3 pasar malam as a token of love. Hahahahahahaha.... Supposed to be good shit. We'll know.. Very soon!! Then you guys can go pester him to help you buy some! :P It's near his office. And apparently the woo kok sells like hot cakes or in this case, hot woo koks. :)
Today is Good Food Day. For me. :) Good lunch. This place near my office called Fusion. They serve good food at a very reasonable price. Tomyam Mee Hoon was heavenly. So was the 'Mun' Yee Mee. And Kam Heong Fried Rice too! Kind of like eating here a lot. So many good food to choose from. And the Fish Head Mee Hoon is good too. Anyone who is free to drop by Damansara Utama for lunch with me, I'll gladly bring u to this place. You won't regret!
Then, for the Finale, yummylicious BKT a.k.a Bak Kut Teh. MMMMMmmm... Old Klang Road. Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh. Love the pork intestines. tender, juicy and 'non-stinky' And then we ordered ' Fah Lum Yuk'. Orgasmic!! 'specially with lots of garlic (me all time fav)! Took away all my work stress.
I JUST LOVE FOOD... TOO MUCH! Food is happiness. Food is life! I just wish I had more food lover friends like myself. My Fatty Club seems to be 'colder than water' (translate this to cantonese. haha!). Just wish those people would just stop worrying about being fat and just LIVE A LITTLE!!!
Whoever wants to make a food trip, let me know okay? I will be more than willing! And any good places for food, let me know too. I will panggil my one member club to go food hunting + tasting with me.
Okay, time for bed. Remember folks, 'Food is happiness. Food is life!'
